GBD Architects set out to build a unique building with a 100 year life span.  Together with Arcis, an array of bright colors were created to give the building a mottled look.

Liability for leaks is a major concern in a condominium project with multiple owners.  Our thin cladding system minimizes the penetrations in the building envelope.  Arcis panels allow for exterior insulation, and maximize the design possibilities.

The Casey was constructed on a difficult site over existing buildings.  Panels were set by hand off of swing stages.

1” thick precast skin is much lighter than brick or conventional precast, greatly reducing the seismic lateral loading on the building.  In high rise applications, the savings in the structural cost is significant especially in a ¼ block project like the Casey.
